EXCAVATING
When excavating for chairlift footings, buried power, water & data lines, and septic pressure mains on the mountainside, there are many considerations to keep in mind.
Among them are: Where should the material be placed for easy retrieval during backfill? Will it remain stable or shift during rain? How can you prevent debris from rolling? What’s the best way to manage the intentional "trundling" of large rocks?
We have addressed these challenges and and found effective solutions.
MATERIAL
HANDLING
Combining the strength and agility of a spider with a tiltrotator or rotating rock grapple provides an outstanding "helping hand."
We have successfully executed material handling tasks such as "shovel logging" for fallen and wind-damaged timber, and acted as a mid-slope transfer point material placement.
We now have a UNIC 295 Spider crane, a Cormidi C1500 dumper/loader, and a Wyssen Sky Mule
UTILITIES
In construction, longer distances result in higher overall costs. For utilities, these expenses are not proportional; increased distances necessitate larger conduits and wires, additional vaults and transformers, and larger diameter pipes.
Depending on site's specifics, we might significantly reduce your utility runs.
